Since its birth, Mentors Foundation has impacted lives in several ways. Including the following:
Annual Donations
Since 2016, the foundation has been making annual donation worth thousands of Ghana Cedis to the following needy institutions:
- Inmates of both the female and male wards of Ghana’s biggest prison, Nsawam Prisons.
- Ghana’s second biggest orphanage, the Bawjiase Orphanage with over one thousand orphans.
- Over Five Hundred (500) widows at Swedru, Kasoa Congo Villa both located in the central region of Ghana and the Lepers at Weija Leprosarium.
Need based Donations
In 2016, the foundation donated an undisclosed amount of money towards the payment of school fees for students of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Tamale College of Education and Sunyani Senior high School respectively.
Training and Education Support
- Between 2016 and 2018, the foundation sponsored the entire Senior High School education of 2 girls in the Brong region of Ghana. The support included the payment of school fees and provision of pocket money and all the needed items to help them successfully complete their S.H.S. program.
- Between 2016 and 2022, the foundation with the support of its partners has enrolled and paid the fees for not less than 300 youth to learn various skill related jobs and further their education in second cycle institutions.

- The foundation in 2017 and 2018 partnered with the Young African Leadership Initiative, YALI-USAID, a Barack Obama entrepreneur initiative in Africa to mentor over 100 youth from different African countries on entrepreneurship and leadership. Mentors Foundation selected Hon. Kwadwo Oppong Nkrumah – Ghana’s Minister of Information to represent the foundation in mentoring the selected YALI African Entrepreneur Training cohort at the YALI Head office -Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) Campus, specifically at the GIMPA Executive Hostel.
- As part of a plan by the Government of Ghana to clear the streets of Major cities in Ghana of “streetism”, Mentors foundation has structured a program dubbed: ‘Operation feed & clear the street ‘. In April 24th 2021, Mentors Foundation donated food items, clothing, shoes etc.to 100s of street children, hawkers and the needy in general on the street of Accra, Ghana.The foundation collected data of over three hundred (300) unemployed street youth who needed skill training and education. The program was aired by the Ghana Television-GTV, Atinka TV, and GBC with the sole aim of getting enough data to assist the Ministry of Gender and social Protection to partner with civil society organizations to implement policies to address the issue of streetism in Ghana. In May 2021, The Ministry wrote to Mentors’ Foundation showing appreciation for report submitted to the Ministry in aid of curbing the menace. In June 2022, the Government of Ghana under the Ministry of Gender and Social Protection started implementing report submitted by Mentors Foundation.
Research and Institutional Support
The foundation has assisted various state institutions on business ideas and research for development and Change Management on voluntary basis or non-monetary terms. These include:
- The Ghana Revenue Authority-Tax Amnesty and Change Management.
- Theatre Arts Department, University of Ghana- Fundraising Project for World Story-Telling Day with Lododo Foundation.
- Marketing strategies for MARTS Pharmaceuticals Ltd, NAFAK 1.
- Legal Administrative restructuring for Zoe, Akyea & Co.
Peace Advocacy
- On the 7th of November 2020, Mentors foundation organized National Electioneering Peace Summit with the theme: ‘Ensuring Peace Before, During and After Election 2020’. Parliamentary candidates of various Political Parties particularly the National Democratic Congress NDC and the New Patriotic Party-NPP, the chairpersons of the Electoral Commission, Ghana Peace Council, Christian Council of Ghana and other corporate bodies graced the summit and delivered their speeches. Over 15 selected Reverend Ministers led godly Prayers for peaceful elections during, before and after the 2020 general elections in Ghana.
- Considering the growing impact of Chieftaincy and Lands Disputes in Ghana, particularly the Greater Accra Region, the foundation thought it wise to collaborate with Stakeholders within the Land space and Chieftaincy affairs in the Country to see to the end of this growing menace. The National Peace Summit in 2021 was held virtually with the theme ‘Our Lands, Our Heritage for Peace and Unity -Educating and Empowering Chiefs and Opinion Leaders on the need to preserve the Lands’.
